It’s officially the start of my CVAP journey!
The first session of Certified Voice Artist Program Batch 12 happened March 5, 2022.
A little nervous because it’s uncertain how things will be compared to my expectations.
For our first Zoom session, Sir Pocholo Gonzales gave an inspiring talk about his journey as a voice artist. At the end of the talk, you’d really want to pursue voice artistry.
At the same time though, it was setting proper expectations. He went as far as clarifying that when you’re just starting, your career as a voice artist will not boom right away. Just like any other career, one must work hard to build a name in the industry.
Not really something that I don’t know yet, but it was a timely reminder. Duly noted!
Ms. Pau of AiVoice also talked about her experience starting up as a voice artist, and how she paved the way to get to where she is right now. Basta laban lang!

Part two of Day One, we did break out rooms and whomever we were with, turned out to be our groupmates for the rest of the class!
We had to introduce our group and ourselves creatively to the whole batch. I’m not too sure about our first ever group presentation because we went waaaay beyond the time limit. I think we used up triple the allowed time. HAHA
But all is good. We resolved to make it up in our second presentation.
If I get to choose two words to describe my feeling after Day One, it’s gonna be “nervous” and “excited”.

Here's a screenshot of all the participants during the first day of training for CVAP Batch 12.
So damn proud of myself for conquering day one of our 5-Saturday Class for our Certified Voice Artist Program. Although I have to say that's only 1/4 of the whole. Still have to conquer the rest, which consists of a dozen homework. LABAN!!!
